Compliance Manager – Asset Management

Location: Luxembourg City

Our client is an international Investment Manager and a strong presence across Europe. In this role, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the compliance operations and be responsible for the management company. Main duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure that Company activities, processes, procedures and documents, comply with the relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Participate in the Compliance Monitoring Program
• Assess and update the firm’s compliance governance & policies, rules and procedures in particular with (AML-CFT) requirements
• Follow up and control of MIFID II legal and operational requirements, including clients portfolio
• Ensuring adherence to local and Group Compliance policies & procedures
• Evaluation of the regulatory changes impacting company contractual Infrastructure
• Conducting customer due diligence on private clients as well as on delegates
• Assessment of the in-house and client AML/CTF risk exposure across Europe

Whom are we looking for?

• At least 4 years of relevant experience working in experience in an AIFM/management company, audit or advisory firm
• Knowledge of MiFID II requirements
• Eligibility for approval from the CSSF
• AML exposure to some of the following asset classes AIFM products (Real Estate, Private Equity, Infrastructure, Debt) and UCITS is an advantage.
• Demonstrate strong regulatory knowledge of Luxembourg and EU AML regulations.
• Any experience working with the regulator is desirable.
• Fluent English, any additional languages are beneficial
