Senior Accountant – Global FMCG

Our client is a Global FMCG Company with a well-established Financial HQ in Luxembourg. The offices are unique and dynamic and offer an environment where motivated individuals can thrive!

In line with continuing growth they are now looking to recruit a new Senior Accountant to join the Luxembourg team on a permanent basis;

Main Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the preparation, documentation and commentary of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to local law and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as compliance with corporate guidelines
• You are responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable and accounts payable, including settlement of payment transactions
• In addition, you create regular internal reports and forecasts
• You take on project tasks in the areas of accounting and consolidation, implement your ideas for process design and optimization and support you in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements
• You are the contact person for the auditor

Requirements:

• You have a completed commercial education with further education as an international accountant (m / f) and / or a completed business studies
• Through several years of professional experience, you have been able to gain deeper experience in the area of accounting according to Luxembourg accounting and IFRS
• You have very good knowledge in SAP FI and MS Office
• Fluent in German & English
• A structured, analytical and team-oriented approach as well as a high motivation and resilience round off your profile
