Financial Reporting Manager – Private Equity – Stockholm

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Director of Accounting
• Act as the ‘Lead Accountant’ within the team
• Act as higher authority on day-to-day accounting queries and act as 4-eyes signatory on accounting matters
• Review Accounting for a complex range of Private Equity funds, management companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessary
• Reviewing all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, consolidations and ad-hoc investor queries
• Attend client board meetings and present quarterly financial information
• Manage and review the completion of routine audit queries
• Review the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns
• Supervise and train other staff members

Candidate Profile:

• Fluency in English and Swedish is compulsory
• 4+ years’ experience in relevant industry
• Be qualified or studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level)
• Relative accounting, reporting and consolidations experience within the funds industry
• Have very good interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.
